Proton collisions at √s = 13 TeV, the highest energy ever used in a collider experiment. Superconducting magnets kept at 1.9 K, colder than outer space. State-of-the-art data processing facilities and inventing and implementing innovative new techniques to analyze the largest unique dataset in history. The possibility that that dataset may contain evidence of dark matter, quantum black holes, exotic Higgs bosons, or new forces of nature. 2015/2016 at the Large Hadron Collider is the time and the place.
